A Kingston 120GB SSD stopped working after a laptop was spilled on. After a thorough diagnosis, it was revealed that the spill caused a short circuit, damaging the electronic controller component. We had to call back our electronics expert from vacation. Some components had to be ordered from abroad. Despite all this, the SSD was repaired. All data was successfully saved, and the drive was fully tested. According to all parameters, it should continue to work reliably for many more years.
