Data extraction from HDD

Using our proprietary technology, we successfully extracted the user’s data by bypassing the scratch on the disk surface. Although we couldn’t fully recover the zeros and ones (data) in the damaged area, 90% of the data has already been transferred to the client’s provided external storage device.

Data recovery from a hard drive after a drop can be a challenging process, as the impact may cause physical damage to the storage device. In such cases, here are some guidelines to attempt data recovery:

Do not use the drive: After a drop, it is important to immediately stop any use of the drive. Even minimal additional activity can worsen the damage or cause it to spread further.

Consult with specialists: In case of physical damage, it is best to contact professionals who specialize in data recovery. They may have specialized equipment and expertise to perform physical repairs or attempt data extraction from the drive.

It is important to understand that every case is unique, and the success of data recovery depends on many factors, including the type of damage, the condition of the drive, and the actions taken after the incident. Physical damage can increase the difficulty of recovering data, so the sooner you consult with specialists, the greater the chance of successful data restoration.
